How to Share Standard Social Media Content

This article assumes your content has already been created and added to your Total Expert library.


Social media pieces added to the library the same way as print pieces require an additional approval step. 


  1. On the left navigation, click Web Marketing > Social Media > Create New
    • Use the search bar or tags to look for specific content.
  2. Next to the asset you want to use, click Actions > Select
  3. Choose any available media options. 
    • Note: You may only be able to choose your user profile. 
  4. Click Customize and Publish
  5. Make any updates to the piece that you can. 
  6. Enter a name for the piece in the Media File Name field.
    • (Optional) Input some notes within the Draft Note section.
  7. Click Save First Draft
  8. Once satisfied, click Publish
    • A pop-up box appears. Click Ok to continue.
  9. You are automatically redirected to the Saved page.
  10. (If necessary) Wait for the piece to be approved. 
  11. Next to the asset you want to use, click Actions > Share
    • A pop-up box appears. 
  12. Choose the social media platforms. 
  13. Input a share link. 
  14. Choose a Post Date/Time OR click Post Now.
