Note
Leads do not receive transactional emails if they are silenced. However, transactional emails are still sent to leads who are opted out of marketing emails (but not leads that are opted out from all emails from that user, domain, or globally).
Silencing communications means the contact no longer receives emails or text messages.
- This action can be undone.
- In the top navigation bar, use the search bar to quickly find your contact.
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- Check the box next to each contact name.
- Click Actions > Update contact preferences > Silence communication.
Tip
Repeat steps 1 through 3 and click Unsilence Communication to undo this action.
