How to Provision Phone Numbers for SMS in Mobile App

This is an administrative feature. 

  • The user must have their number provisioned before the SMS feature can be used. 
  • Users must have a phone number added to their account. 
  • Users who already have numbers provisioned do not need their numbers provisioned again.


  1. On the left navigation, click Organization Admin > Communication Settings
  2. In the search bar, input the name of the user that needs their phone number provisioned. 
  3. Check the box next to the name of the user. 
  4. Click Provision phone number
    • A pop-up box appears. 
  5. Select which number needs to be provisioned then click Generate Number(s)
