Note
A contact must opt in before they can receive SMS messages. This can also be done in TotalExpert.net; click HERE to learn how.
- On your device, open the Total Expert, Inc. mobile app and log in.
- At the bottom of the app, tap Contacts.
- Use the search bar or the filter to find your contact.
- Next to the contact's name, tap Opt in required.
- On the contact details page, tap the Send Messagebutton.
- If the contact record does not have a valid cell phone number, an error message appears, alerting you that the number must be corrected. Once you provide a valid phone number, you can proceed.
- In the pop-up box, tap the Send Opt In Request button.
- The contact is notified to accept and opt in to receive messages.
- Note:
- Contacts can be sent a new request 3 times, with at least 12 hours having passed since the previous attempt.
- Contacts are automatically opted out after 24 hours of not responding to an opt-in request.
