Blend Integration FAQ

Will contacts who start an application in Blend and are not in Total Expert flow back to TE automatically?

Yes, contacts who are captured in Blend are created in Total Expert. Additionally, Total Expert also stores Application Data and Application Status, which will be stored and visualized in the Contact Response when viewing a contact.


Will the status of my contact’s application flow back to Total Expert?

See above answer.

Note: Once the loan is created in the LOS, it flows back to TE and is tied back to the original contact.


Can I push a contact to Blend more than once?

Yes. If you are pushing a contact to Blend more than once, you can toggle whether you want to send the contact another application.


What if I don’t own the contact record?

If you do not own the contact record, you can still push the contact to Blend, but you are restricted in the fields that you can edit.


Which email template is sent to the borrower when I push a contact from TE to Blend?

This would use the default template set in the your Blend account.


Can the current integration support more than one Blend API key in 1 organization in Total Expert (for example, ABC Mortgage and XYZ Mortgage in Blend both map to Expert Mortgage in TE)?

Yes, the current integration supports mapping multiple instances of Blend to the same organization in Total Expert.


Will SMS opt-in information from Blend flow back in to the TE contact record?

Yes, but only if that feature is configured in the integrated Blend account.
