Note
You must first have your phone number added to your account in order to complete this task. Contacts must approve text messaging before you can send SMS messages.
- On the left navigation, click Leads & Contacts > Contacts.
- Use the search bar to quickly find your contact(s).
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- Click on the name of the contact.
- Under the Profile tab, scroll down to Communication Preferences.
- Next to SMS, click Send opt-in request.
- A pop-up box appears.
- Choose Yes.
- The user receives a text message where they need to confirm they would like to receive SMS messages.
