For Engage SMS users taking advantage of the Total Expert mobile app, the new Add Notes and Outcomes feature lets you quickly log interactions—whether they're notes, outcomes, or both—right from your phone. Designed for loan officers, this update ensures you can capture key details in real time, streamlining your workflow on the go.

⭐ Optimizing Rate Quotes
We’ve updated Rate Quotes to deliver more precise monthly payment estimates and ensure geographically specific loan programs are reflected in your results. These changes enhance both the borrower experience and the accuracy of your quotes.
- Expanded Quote Detail View: Mortgage Insurance (MI) amount, property taxes, and homeowners’ insurance are now visible in the Quotes tab to improve monthly payment accuracy.
- Improved Location Data on MLS Flyers: Full street address and city now passed to your PPE to ensure location-specific loan programs are included.
- More accurate pricing calls are possible with the new DSCR Ratio Field for income verification and Expanded Citizenship Field Options.

Administrators and loan officers who use our Integrated Design Studio (powered by MAXA) can now leverage Total Expert’s extensive MLS network access. With this connection, integrated users will be able to build property flyers, open house materials, and postcards quickly and easily for listings from connected co-marketing partners.

New Journey: Birthday Email Journey
Celebrate your contacts every year with a new lifetime journey. This four-email series runs annually and restarts in year five—no extra work required.
New Email Header Blocks
Three new email header blocks are now available, giving administrators options to display contact info alongside either a horizontal or stacked brand logo. Each design defaults to the standard logo if no variant is present, with mobile-friendly formatting built in.
Editable Rate & Listing Flyers
We’ve released editable versions of our 11 popular flyer designs for customers without MLS or PPE integrations. These templates allow full customization and are ideal for flexible marketing use cases. Approval flows are recommended to ensure compliance.

⭐ Announcement: AI Sales Assistant
We’re currently running a closed beta of AI Sales Assistant, designed to help originators follow up faster, respond to intent signals, and maintain consistent borrower engagement, without adding more to their plates.
This AI agent combines real-time contact intelligence, journey automation, and integrated voice capabilities to support human-like, compliant outreach at scale. It’s part of our broader strategy to deliver high-value, enterprise-grade AI that enhances the customer journey—from first contact to post-close follow-up.
The closed beta is currently live with select clients and will inform future platform-wide capabilities. We’ll share more as we evolve this innovation.

Platform Enhancements: Small Touches, Big Impact
Campaign Builder: Improved Audience Estimates
Audience estimates in Campaign Builder are now more accurate thanks to an improved Valid Email Address filter. The system now checks email formatting, opt-in status, and global unsubscribes to give you a clearer view of your campaign reach.
Email Builder UX: Cleaner Editing with Unlink & Alignment Improvements
You can now easily remove hyperlinks without deleting the text. We've also removed alignment options when editing buttons to ensure a cleaner editing experience and reduce formatting issues.
Email Builder UX: Maintain Filters after Editing for More Efficient Workflow
Now, when a user applies folder and/or tag filters prior to editing an email, those filters remain active once the user exits the email editor, saving time and improving the user’s workflow.
Style Sheet Builder: Improving the Experience
We’ve removed two unused fields—button-color-alt and button-background-alt—from the Style Sheet Builder. These fields had no effect on email styling and were causing confusion. This update helps streamline the design experience and prevent misconfigurations.
Improved: Birthday Filter Accuracy
We've modified the birthday filter to exclude past dates. The filter now properly identifies contacts with upcoming birthdays based strictly on the selected timeframe.
Renamed: “Workflow_Engines” to “Routing_Engines” for Clarity
To make terminology more intuitive, we've renamed “workflow_engines” to “routing_engines” across the platform. This better reflects the feature’s purpose: controlling how opportunities are routed to leads.
Scheduled Posts: Labels That Match Real Behavior
To improve clarity in the Scheduled Posts view, we’ve updated the sort dropdown labels to better reflect how posts are ordered:
- “Newest First” is now “Next Scheduled”
- “Oldest First” is now “Last Scheduled”
This change ensures the labels match the actual sort behavior, which is based on scheduled send time, not creation date. Functionality remains unchanged.
Bulk Image Deletion: Clearer Prompts to Improve your Experience
We’ve updated the confirmation and processing messages for bulk image deletion to improve clarity and set accurate expectations. There are no changes to functionality, just clearer guidance to help users avoid unintended impact on templates or campaigns.
User Activity Dashboard: Prioritized Insights at a Glance
We’ve reordered the widgets on the User Activity Dashboard to prioritize key metrics and improve usability. Login Count by User now appears at the top, followed by the other engagement insights.
Encompass® by ICE Mortgage Technology® SDK Retirement & Fusion Upgrade
ICE Mortgage Technology, the provider of Encompass, is retiring the SDK that powers some Total Expert integrations. To ensure continued functionality, we are building a new integration platform, Fusion, which maintains real-time sync, SMS opt-ins, and offers greater flexibility and transparency.
Clients impacted by this change will receive additional communication by the end of June regarding their specific implementation schedule.
