How Do Draft Notes Work When There is an Approval Process?

  • Entering a draft note and then clicking Save Draft > Request Approval will send that note to the approver of the print piece. 
  • The note will not go to the approver if the note is entered and you click Save First Draft
  • Click HERE to learn how to create a print piece. 


  1. On the left navigation, click Print Marketing > Create New
  2. Search for the print piece that you want to add notes to.
    • Use your tags, folders, and search bar.
  3. Next to your print piece, on the right side of the page, click Actions > Select.
  4. Select the correct co-marketing partner and user profile. 
  5. At the top of the page, click Customize and Publish.
  6. Under Draft Notes, input your note. This note is a note to yourself – the creator of the print piece. 
  7. Click Save Draft.
    • Another note text box appears.
  8. Input your notes in this text box if you want the approver of the print piece to view a note. 
  9. Click Save Draft > Request Approval.
