How to Add Memos to Contact Records

Memos are editable notes that you can add to contact records. They resemble sticky notes and allow you to pin important notes that are put down after communications with customers. 

  • Memos can be viewed and edited by other members of the same organization.
  • Co-marketing partners that are shared with users outside their organization cannot see memos. 
  • Users cannot see memos that are shared with co-marketers that add their own memos to the contact. 


  1. On the left navigation, click Leads & Contacts > Contacts
  2. Use the search bar to quickly find your contact. 
    • Search by name, email, or phone number. 
  3. Click the name of the contact to view contact information.
  4. On the right side of the page, click your cursor into the memo note and start typing. 
    • Your memo automatically saves.
