Creating a Task
There are 3 areas where you can create a task:
- On the Tasks page
- In a contact record
- On the actions list
Tasks Page
- Navigate to Tasks > Tasks.
- Click the +Create button.
- A slide-out panel appears.
- Update the following:
- Title
- Details
- Assign To - Assign this task to certain users.
- Due Date
- Due Time
- Click the Submit button.
Contact Record
- In the page header, use the search bar to quickly find your contact.
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- Select the name of the contact to view contact details page.
- On the right side of the page, locate the Open Tasks section.
- Click the +Add Taskbutton.
- A pop-up box appears.
- Input your task information and click the Submit button.
Action List
- Navigate to Leads & Contacts > Contacts.
- Use the search bar to quickly find your contact(s).
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- For the contact where you want to add a task, select Actions > Create a task.
- A pop-up box appears.
- Input your task information and click the Submit button.
Marking a Task Complete
There are two areas where you can mark tasks as complete:
- On the Tasks page
- On a contact's details page
On the Tasks Page
- Navigate to Tasks > Tasks.
- Check the boxes for any tasks that you want to mark as complete.
- Click the button in the Actions menu and select Mark As Complete.
On a Contact's Details Page
- In the page header, use the search bar to quickly find your contact.
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- Select the name of the contact to view contact information.
- On the right side of the page, locate the Open Tasks section.
- Check the box in the tile for the task you want to mark as complete.
